Cast pieces

Jewellery pieces are made from castings of original designs by RAS, poured with 14kt gold or sterling silver. Four clan crests are represented; caribou, frog, killer whale, and wolf. The castings are presented in two shapes. These are the clamshell and the teardrop shape, both in small and large sizes. The flat shaped gold killer whale pendant is also cast. However the shape of the piece maintains the unique outline of the killer whale.

 

Clamshell
The clamshell design is prepared so that both sides of the shell are illustrated with a clan crest, and the halves of the clamshell are opened to a 1/3 position. Due to the intricate nature of the castings, only the frog, killer whale and wolf crests are available in the clamshell shape for the earrings and the pendants. The height of the each half of the shell is about 7/16" by 1/2" wide. The large clamshell pendants are 7/8" high by 5/8" wide.

Teardrop
The teardrop shape is produced in large and small sizes with all four clan crests represented. The small size is used for gold and silver earrings and pendants. The small silver teardrops are also utilized for tie pins and lapel pins. The teardrops are 3/4" high by 5/8" at the widest. The large silver teardrops are utilized for pendants and bolo ties. The large teardrops are 1 1/4" high by 13/16" at the widest.

Custom Pieces

Wrist bracelets are created in 1/4", 1/2" and 1 inch band widths, both in silver and gold. Rings range from 3/16" to 3/8" band widths, in both gold and silver. Teardrop shapes vary in dimensions to fit a particular design.
